International TourFilm Fest 2017 for short and medium-length films

Valid for entry to the 6th edition of the festival organized by Civita Film Commission.

The International Tour Film Fest 2017 is the evolution of Tolfa Short Film Fest; the international competition, this year, is open to shorts and medium-length films; The festival is sponsored and organized by the Cultural CivitaFilm, with organizational headquarters in Via Togliatti No. 12 -00053- Civitavecchia (Rome, ITALY), in collaboration with: City of Civitavecchia, Regione Lazio, Fondazione Cassa di Risparmio di Civitavecchia and Port Authority of Civitavecchia.

The 6thedition of the Festival will take place in Civitavecchia during the month of October 2017. The competition will be accompanied by events and cultural programming.

  1. They are admitted works of Italian and international production, of any size, produced from 2015 onwards and mandatory subtitled in English.

  2. They can take part in the competition shorts and medium-length films with a maximum duration of 60 'including receivables, belonging to the following categories:

A) FICTION

B) ANIMATION

C) DOCUMENTARY

D) TOURISM PROMOTIONAL MOVIES

 
  1. The works must be loaded on the following platforms

in MP4 format (video resolution 1920x1080 Codec: H264, FPS: 25, extension:.MP4, max size: 2 Gb), along with the completed enrollment form, no later than April 30, 2017, no exceptions.

The works must be sent, mandatory subtitled in English, together with a poster and/or stills, the list of festivals and awards, and the author's biography.

The works received without the required specifications will not be accepted unless a prior agreement with the Artistic Director.

For each work entered you must fill out a registration form.

Any director may participate with more works (one work per category).

Each production company or distribution company can participate with more works (subject to the constraint referred to in the preceding paragraph).

Entry to the festival is free.

  1. The works will be selected by and at the discretion of the Artistic Director of the festival in collaboration with sector experts.

Juries composed of leading operators in the cinematographic sector and television, communication and entertainment will award the following prizes:

    WINNERS:

  • Best Fiction

  • Best Animation

  • Best Documentary

  • Best Tourism Promotional Movie

They will also be awarded the following prizes

  • The Critics' Award

 

The Jury reserves the right not to award one or more prizes.

  1. Entry to the festival gives the right to promote the work entered in local television broadcasters, non-profit, in other contests and festival partners. The work is recorded on receipt of a confirmation email from the organization.

Theorganizationis entitled to make partial projections, for print or for the promotion of the festival. The dates and times of screenings are the sole responsibility of the organization of the festival, which will publish a catalog of the selected works and a screening schedule.

  1. The works received will be kept in the archive of the Cultural CivitaFilm Commission and may be used for future projections, no-profit film club or activity within cultural and educational purposes.

  2. Registration entitles the festival to promote the works in his "On Tour" the following year.

  3. The organization, while committed to the care and custody of the works, assumes no responsibility for any theft or damage that may occur to.

  4. By entering the contest, each author is responsible for the content of his work and authorizes the organization of the festival to the processing of his data in accordance with law.

  5. The writer / producer / distributor, joining the competition, claims to be in possession of all the rights of his work and responsible for the content of the work itself.

  6. Participation in the competition implies acceptance of these rules in all its paragraphs and  With the filling, even partial, of this form and subsequent sending, I have read all the rules of the competition and I have accepted all its parts.

  7. For any dispute, the jurisdiction is mandatorily to Civitavecchia (Rome).

  8. The Management reserves the right to decide in derogation from this Regulation in specific or not provided cases.
