Sunday 11 October, 15:00 - Out of Competition Film Screening -Tourism Films from Montenegro curated by Stars of Wild Beauty – International Tourism Film Festival (Montenegro)

Montenegro is an awesome tourist destination and it has the need for awesome video presentation, so the festival is organised in that manner.  Discover the Montenegrin attractions and landscapes, thanks to this selection of tourist short films curated by Miki Dragicevic, Founder and President of the Stars Wild of Beauty International Tourism Festival.

 The first edition of film festival took place in December at the luxurious Hotel Splendid in Budva, where the ITFF obtained the Fraternal Festival Award in the sign of mutual friendship and active collaboration.

 

THE SHORT FILMS 

 

Crna Goro (Montenegro) (Montenegro, 2018) directed by Miki Dragicevic - Running Time 4 minutes

A documentary promo tourist film with a music track in the background. The essential message of the movie is that nature is the one that is calling the tourists to visit a certain destination. With nature there are outdoor activities, culture, people, history...

 

 


Svjetionik Mendra (Lighthouse Mendra) (Montenegro, 2019) directed by Michael Bader - Running Time 2 minutes

Discovering the Mendra lighthouse, one of the many Montenegrin tourist attractions, with the expert Michael Bader.

 

 

Rijeka Ćehotina – Ribolovni Raj  (River Cehotina - Fishing paradise)  (Montenegro, 2019) directed by NGO Legalis - Pljevlja - Running Time 3 minutes

The Ćehotina is one of the main rivers of Montenegro.The river in particular crosses the coal basin of Pljevlja of which it bathes the homonymous city to continue towards the region of Podgora, near the villages of Radosavec, Židovići, Donja Brvenica and the small town of Gradac. This tourism film shows not only the Montenegrin landscape beauties but also all the richness of this river, a real fishing paradise.

Skadarsko Jezero - Nacionalni Parkovi Crna Gore  (Skadar Lake - National parks of Montenegro) (Montenegro, 2020) directed by del Nacionalni Parkovi Crna Gore - Running Time 10 minutes

Tourism short film about the wonderful Lake Skadar National Park, Balkan’s largest lake. The lake is so called because on the far south-east there is the city of Skadar.  This lake is located on the border between Albania and Montenegro, about 2/3 of the surface belongs to the latter.

 

 

 Tara - rijeka strasti i izazova (Montenegro, 2019) directed by Veljko Vujanovic - Running Time 30 minutes

A film about the history of the River Tara made from a different perspective: a group of three members of canoeists cross the most beautiful and attractive part of the river in a two-day descent, discovering hidden places that can only be reached by kayaks. The film mainly takes on a promotional dimension of the most beautiful Montenegrin river, which can be a new impulse not only in the tourist offer, but also in the development of water sports, sport fishing and research activities that may concern flora, fauna, the geological phenomena of canyons and other areas that also involve the world of science.
