Wednesday October 3: Festival Opening with Walter Sciortino

WALTER SCIORTINO

Pop/Latino/Dance/R&B Singer, musician and composer.

 

He was born in Rome in Italy in 1980. At the age of 16 years old he began to dedicate himself to music composing new songs with guitar. In 2004 he took part in the "Festival of Castrocaro Terme" and in 2006 he began his first artistic collaborations with several Neapolitan artists including Piero Palumbo and Luca Sepe. In 2007 he writes and composes "Only you dance in the night", making his debut in Dance music genre. In 2008 he presented "L'importanza della vita", a song written with Manuel Moroni and Claudio Giambarresi, awarded with the I.C.A.R.O. Award State Police at the Teatro Bagaglino and promoted by the A.G.U.V.S. one of the largest Association of United States Protection and Justice for Victims of the Road in Italy. In 2010 he wrote "Mai mai mai" with Claudio G. and Manuel M. sung by Manuel Moroni, distributed by Universal Music and featured in  Oltre Sanremo compilation published by label Network's. In 2012 "Qualcosa di più"  another song with vocal performed by Manuel Moroni,  won the Alex Baroni Award. The following year confirms two other stages: Premio Originalità with "L'importanza della vita" and 3rd Lucio Dalla Place Award  as the author of "Complici d'amore". In 2014 composed with other authors "Labirinto" promo radio in Italy - Switzerland - Spain. In 2015 he began his first international collaboration with the Argentine singer-songwriter Ale Ortega the artominated by the Gardel Awards 2015 in Argentina as Meglio Nuovo Artist Pop, translating into Italian his song "Mi vida sin ti" soundtrack of the soap opera "Dulce Amor" with which receives notoriety and appreciation in Argentina through a press release of Warner Music Argentina and important TV stations such as TELEFE and radio stations.In September 2015 he released his first single entitled "Come ero ieri"  which he's he author, composer and producer, arranged by Emiliano Palmieri.  They spend a few days and the single becomes part of the TOP TEN of some Digital Stores in the month of October 2015 among the most listened to and downloaded in Italy and faces the international audience of USA - Brazil - China - Mexico - Chile - Argentina establishing himself as a music artist.In 2016 he released the new single "Non mi pentirò" with GDE-EDIZIONI also contained in the compilation: scoballo, Vol. 3. The piece is part of the Slow-fox genre which is performed by many national orchestras in the various Italian cities.In the first half of the year it becomes part of the "Four Club" project with a single Dance / Reaggeton / House which includes musician Sandro Cupellaro, Dj Falaska and Claudio Giambarresi on GDE-Edizioni. The song is called "Jump" and is an electronic fusion between ancient and modern in an almost futuristic mix. The song is programmed over 600 stations including FM radio stations, web-radios and discos. In August 2016 the song in Spanish "En otra dimensión", performed by Gianfranco Foscoli & La Band Spettacolo Italiana, conquers the international audience of many countries including USA - Brazil - Russia - Latvia - Turkey - Poland - Austria. The song immediately becomes a radio hit entering the rankings and play-list of hundreds of national radio stations; it was chosen by the Juanny Dance team and Anna De Capua, becoming one of the most requested group dances in Italy. In October 3, 2016 the single hit "Fino all' ultimo" comes out a mix of pop cumbia and reaggeton sounds, bringing a breath of freshness and musical innovation. Also in 2016 he signs the second work with Warner Music Argentina in the album "Crecer" by Ale Ortga where he is author with Emiliano Palmieri in "Regresa a mi". Immediately after the release of the album Walter duet in a concert with the Argentine singer-songwriter Alejandro Rafael Ortega at the Salotto delle Idee of Civitavecchia in the live organized by the Italian fan club of Ale Ortega singing 3 songs. Currently Walter Sciortino is considered an artist  able to renew and merge different genres and styles, thus bringing innovation in dance music but without neglecting the traditional sound of Pop-Latin music. Also he is second artist in the world to have cast a Kizomba theme in Spanish, in fact his "Donde estarás" explodes in 2017 within a few weeks making his popularity in Europe, Mexico, Venezuela, Brazil and surpassing the 50,000 Views between Youtube and Facebook. The song is chosen among the most important portals in the world of music Kizomba as "PortoRico Kizomba" - "Venezuela Kizomba" and "Mais Kizomba" in Brazil with over 1,500,000 registered users as videos of the week in April 2017, enter in the programming of more than 900 radio and TV stations worldwide and is included as best video clip in Muzi Kult n ° 30 April 2017 and video of the week in LaWebTv. It is also present in the compilation Discoballo, Vol. 4 at the track n ° 15. "Donde estarás" brings the Roman singer-songwriter to be part of the "Peperoncino che Passione" tour, the most important traveling chili festival in the world that promotes chilli gastronomy in several Italian cities including: Bologna, Ancona, Macerata, Rome, Ladispoli, Formia, Tolentino, Pomezia and Pesaro. In the video of the theme "Donde estarás" is highlighted the expression of the Angolan dance and to show the steps and sensality there will be the choreography of two: Masters of Dance Professionals: Gianni & SereTry of the Kizomba Roma school very well known in Europe. The 2017 sees it also in other artistic collaborations, in fact the Latin-R & B guitarist sound is recorded in the song "Do not get used to it" - Niccolò Centioni ft. Flavio Giardi. In October he was elected as a juror at the International Film Festival in the video section of the Festival del Mare with Dario Albertini, Irene Bertoglio, Paola Liberatori, Massimiliano Coppa, Anthony Caruana, Paola Vergati, Vito Sabino, Gloria Trotti and Paolo Marri.Il 1 June 2018 comes out the new single Kizomba Spanish entitled: "Los Pasos De La Noche", the official video is published by Mais Kizomba in the channel Afrolatino TV among the news of the month. The theme "Los Pasos De La Noche" is produced by the same singer-songwriter and by Vito Sabino the co-producer of this project. The direction of the video has been curated by Luca Caminiti with the choreography of the masters Gianni & SereTry. With the latest single, Walter Sciortino becomes part of the program schedule in the TV show "Sentir Latino" produced by Luis Flores.
