Ekaterinburg (Russia), Friday 4 December: Homage to Federico Fellini at XVII Kinoproba International Film Festival
The Anthology film Fellini & l'alter ego curated by film historian Graziano Marraffa will be screened at the XVII International Festival of Film Schools Kinoproba as a tribute to Director Federico Fellini for his 100th Birth Anniversary. Also, the special screenings at Kinoproba festival celebrating 100 years of the great Master will include Fellini's films: I Vitelloni (1953) and La Voce Della Luna (1990). The program is presented by Lada Tikhonova. Graziano Marraffa will introduce his anthology film.
One of the most popular and followed film festivals in Russia, Kinoproba saw internationally renowned authors such as: Aleksey Fedorchenko, Krzysztof Zanussi, Koji Yamamura, Gil Alkabetz, Ulrich Seidl, Aleksandr Petrov (Academy Award winner as Best Animation Short film for "The Old Man and the Sea"), Andrei Zvyagintsev (Golden Lion at the Venice Film Festival for The Return) and David Sproxton (co-founder of Aardman Animations)
